  • Ingredients

    • 50 g (1 3/4 oz) creamy goat cheese
    • 1 C. tbsp (15 ml) chopped chives
    • 1 C. tbsp (15 ml) chopped parsley
    • 1 cantaloupe
    • 1 plate of  sliced ​​smoked duck breast
    • 12 small basil leaves

    FOR THE FRAGRANCE OIL


    • 2 tbsp. tbsp (30 ml) olive oil
    • 1 C. teaspoon (5 ml) balsamic vinegar
  • Preparation

    1. In a bowl, mix the goat cheese with the fine herbs.
    2. In another bowl, combine the fragrance oil ingredients.
    3. Cut the cantaloupe into twelve 2 cm (¾ in) thick slices.
    4. Spread the cheese mixture over the cantaloupe slices.
    5. On twelve small skewers or toothpicks, prick the slices of duck breast, making them undulate.
    6. Insert the skewers onto the cantaloupe slices. Drizzle with fragrant oil, then garnish each bite with a basil leaf.
