Duck confit, mango and onion bites

Extremely simple to prepare, these bites are real spoonfuls of happiness!
Ingredients
- 2 oignons rouges, coupés en dés
- 1 c. à soupe (15 ml) d’huile d’olive
- ⅓ tasse (80 ml) de sirop d’érable
- 1 c. à soupe (15 ml) de vinaigre de cidre
- ½ mangue coupée en dés
- Sel et poivre au goût
- 1 paquet de canard confit à effilocher
- 12 cuillères chinoises
Preparation
- In a saucepan, brown the red onions in the oil. Add the maple syrup, vinegar and mango. Salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, then simmer for about 10 minutes until syrupy.
- Meanwhile, reheat the shredded duck confit as directed on the package.
- Divide the duck meat among twelve Chinese spoons. Garnish each spoonful of mango confit and onions.
