Extremely simple to prepare, these bites are real spoonfuls of happiness!

  • Ingredients

    • 2 oignons rouges, coupés en dés
    • 1 c. à soupe (15 ml) d’huile d’olive
    • ⅓ tasse (80 ml) de sirop d’érable
    • 1 c. à soupe (15 ml) de vinaigre de cidre
    • ½ mangue coupée en dés
    • Sel et poivre au goût
    • 1 paquet de canard confit à effilocher
    • 12 cuillères chinoises
  • Preparation

    1. In a saucepan, brown the red onions in the oil. Add the maple syrup, vinegar and mango. Salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, then simmer for about 10 minutes until syrupy.
    2. Meanwhile, reheat the shredded duck confit as directed on the package.
    3. Divide the duck meat among twelve Chinese spoons. Garnish each spoonful of mango confit and onions.
